| The Thin Film Users Group (TFUG) focuses on deposition and characterization of thin filmspredominantly for semiconductor fabrication and related fields such as flat panel displays and magnetic storage media. It is composed of engineers and scientists from device manufacturers, semiconductor equipment vendors, and various universities. The TFUGs main activity is a bi-monthly meeting with technical presentations on a topic of current interest and an annual symposium that focuses on current thin film deposition, characterization and optimization.
Membership in the TFUG and admission to bi-monthly technical meetings is free and open to anyone involved or interested in thin film processes, including those in device or equipment manufacturing, academia and consulting. There is no pre-registration required to attend the meetings and these meeting provide an excellent opportunity to interact and discuss problems and issues with others in the field.
The meetings are typically held on the third Wednesday of the month from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m at Evans Analytical Group, LLC (unless otherwise specified). Please refer to the e-mail meeting Announcements or Schedule page for details and location.
